• Evaluation of the results from all relevant parts of this project

• Evaluation of the results from other projects, like shadow lists

• Integration of the consolidated results in the database

Objective

Beginning of the identification of the most important areas for the Habitats Directive

Measures

• Initiation of the identification of the most important areas for protecting of the habitats of annex I and species of the annex II of the Habitats Directive according the criteria’s of Annex III

• Identification of the further studies and evaluations according the lack of knowledge, incl. field studies

• Initiation of the collection of the relevant information according to the Decision of the European Commission 97/266/EU

• First compilation of a preliminary list of potential areas according the criteria of Annex III
